Or maybe even before that. In any case, this is the earliest record we have of a tradition that goes back a long time, the PRIVATA tradition, and which has gone on today to become a legend in its own right.

Logically enough, in those days everything revolved around agricultural work. Even sporting activity, which had not yet acquired its modern name, was practised strictly within the context of the natural world.

The population of the time was also well acquainted with the trials of life at sea.

Their as yet unencumbered horizons were never marked by the idea of creating a lasting fashion concept. Yet that is exactly what they have passed on to us today.

Some revolutions go back a long way...

Traditions have no frontiers. That's the strength of a true legend.
